Knifemaker's family struggling; 60 minutes

I thought he embodied the American spirit of hard work, not whining, and realistically rationing available resources. He even put a good spin on it!
We need more of that sort of attitude to get through the current economic mess.:thumbup:
Both me and my wife thought it was a very motivational part of the story.
 
Im happy to see that there are people who still care....
Its so easy to turn your head away and pretend that things get solved by themselves.

He makes some really nice knives btw
 
i just called mike to let him know he has a place here once he joined up but we hardly started to talk when his cell phone was going off. the way it sounds, i dont know if he would ever have time to get on the forums. since the show aired he has orders for 200 knives so far :thumbup:

That is great news. He has some nice looking blades and sheaths.:thumbup:
 
i just talked to mike and he has 2 years worth of knife orders :eek: (300 knives) he will be at the blade show so look for him there around row 5.
