Love that folder, Don! Wicked comes to mind! Wicked blade, wicked hamon, scary damascus, scary button, and the clip looks to have a wicked theme! Not to mention the awesome ivory. Nice work.

Lots of steel in that package.

This is not a very good picture of it at all, but here's a fighter I finished recently. Its got about an 8.5" blade, 14.5" OAL. 1095 steel, some damascus for the fittings, and amboyna burl for the handle.

I'm working on better pictures of it and a few others, but thought I'd share anyway.

Here is a picture of one I just got back from Coop. It is a carved stag hunter and will shortly be heading for a new home.

OUTSTANDING carved weave on that handle, Harry!

Best,

Bob

 +1 EXCEPTIONAL carving....looks as if it is comprised of lacing!

Getting to be some exquisite knives in this thread. Those Velardes are VERY nice too!

Here are some I've just finished, Jon. I'm going to the Vegas show this weekend and these are part of my inventory. There is a heavy tactical side to this show, so I've got some synthetics here.
1. Sub hilt fighter with a 9" blade of Elmax steel, 416 fittings, and curly koa handle.
2. Small tactical fighter, 5 1/4" CPM154 blade, 416 fittings, and black linen Micarta handle.
3. Small wharncliff folder in my Techno-Art style. Damascus is from Delbert Ealy in his "Glyph" pattern, TI liners, 416 pivot "wheels", and lightening strike carbon fiber scales.
4. This is a good sized folder with a 3 11/16" long blade of W2 with a hamon, TI liners, stainless damascus bolsters, and lightening strike carbon fiber scales. The spine is carbon fiber that progressively raises out of the handle, and is thinned down in the middle with stainless steel stand-offs. (This one has been on a couple of other forums for a few days.)

Here's one I just recieved the pic from Mr. Cooper. It was the knife that recieved best bowie at MKA show. I posted pics but we all know that Cooper really captures the heart of the knife.

Harry and Charlie-:thumbup::thumbup: that carving is amazing!
David Broadwell- that #4 folder you posted with the W2 is one of the coolest looking folding knives I've ever seen:cool: I totally want one, (can't have one:()

Here is one for your viewing pleasure.
I know it's not normal to put a shield into a Barlow pattern? But I did anyway....:)

Thanks Peter. There's actually a matching full integral hunter, also fully engraved by the late Mr. Aasland, which makes the third of an exquisite set.

These knives dropped my jaw when I first saw them and quickly became "must haves". Thanks all for commenting and thanks everyone for posting!
