Hey Folks,

I'm feeling passionate about getting into knifemaking and I'm just curious which others from BF or elsewhere are knifemakers who live in Wisconsin.

Maybe in the future it would be cool to have a get together weather it be a class or show and tell etc...

Thank you,
Hans

Not Wisconsin...... Minneapolis tho. -Larry

Hans,

I am located in Waupaca, (central Wisconsin). A great place to talk with other makers from Wi and the surrounding states is to attend the spring Badger Knife Show in Janesville Wi

What moved you to TN if its not too personal?

Economic and family reasons. I grew up in WI and love it, but the job market there sucks and I'm sick of the winters. Plus, my wife's folks are here.

Will do, Josiah. Keep in touch, there are several makers in this area. Perhaps we should start an East Tennessee thread and leave this one for the cheeseheads :p

I follow a Wisconsin maker by the name of Scott Roush but I am not sure if he is on the forums. He has a website though...

I live in Wheaton Illinois...I just finished building my GIB and hopefully will start making some knives soon!!

I'd have to say you're probably the closest too me and coffee is delicious :P Do you happen to have a website?

No website, give me a call 715-544-0115
Ken.

Hey Ken, I wrote your number down if you don't want it up public in the thread you could delete it if you want.

Going to bed now but I'll shoot you an email or call in the future when timing is right.

Thank you much,
Hans

Yup, and she caught me :)

Hans, don't let either Ken E. or Ken C. kid you with their modesty. They're two of the very finest makers in the business today.
