forging here, forge to shape, then grind off the ugly stuff. So it another one of those go both ways things. Should I admit that in public?????????

Great response so far! Thanx guys! Also, those who cannot vote on the poll like Max and others, please feel free to mention your style anyhow! All maker's are welcome!

This should also prove interesting, for knife enthusiasts in general or those aspiring makers. Just for the sake of curiosity/perspective. I would encourage ALL those interested, to definitely start making knives. It is so much fun! And for those who do not forge, you'll absolutely love working at the anvil! Give it a try, its even more of a blast than it looks!

Keep voting!

larado metioned getting the neilbors involved. i sharpen knifes for my neilbors to buy them off about the noise.plus they all love my irish terrorist dog:D . she has a international fan club! if i charged a dollar to pet the dog i would at least double my income:) hey bruce evans! it looks like you and indian geogre go both ways, BUT i bet you give a purdyier finger nail manicure, TEE HEE

Bruce does your nails before you spin around the brass pole?  thats sounds pretty scarry!

Laurence, you think thats scary??? You should see when I slide down the pole into a split.:barf: :barf: :barf: HEHEHE!!!

Good response.

I was thinking of creating a new poll in the same arena, but trying some other aspects of the craft. Maybe preferred knife styles, tools, methods within styles, brands, steels, stuff like that. Maybe things you'd "like to see go away!" or "like to see enter the craft" We'll see. Any ideas more than welcome. Got to put them in poll-form though.

Thanx for participating guys!
