Looking into buy a good knifemaking book. I have 2 Im looking at, looking for opinions.
Bob Loveless & Richard Barney, or David Boye?
Either Im guessing would be a very informational book but which would you guys choose? First at least... :)

Wow! Thanks for that! I was just curious as I wanted the Loveless book, but the Boye book was on ebay for cheap and I have a few Ebay Bucks to spend. Lol

Have never made a knife but ordered three books a couple of days ago and am anxiously awaiting their arrival. I have been doing lots of reading online but there is nothing like have a paper book to highlight and make notes in, and hopefully get educated without wasting money.

Bladesmithing with Murray Carter: Modern Application of Traditional Techniques
Wayne Goddard's $50 Knife Shop, Revised
The Wonder of Knifemaking by Wayne Goddard

I think the Loveless book is the best book ever written on the subject of making a knife. Loveless does stock removal, Moran forges, and Barney makes a knife with just hand tools. It's all in one book.
