Knifemaking fact and fiction....

YES....Ask any Rhodes Scholar they should know where all the Anvils went:rolleyes:

I know.

You find the guy who buys the anvil at an auction sale and follow him home.
He's got fifty stacked up in a shed waiting for the price to go up so he can sell them someday.

If you ask him, he's not ready to sell one now, someday.

He will die before someday comes and all the others just like him will buy them up and carry on the cycle.

hmmm i never even thought of them sand blasting the inside of it, send it an email and maybe they will redo it. give them as exact of a response as to how you got shocked so they can try to duplicate it.

I was cutting up a bunch of soapstone on my band saw. Lots of silica in it. I was getting shocks every 10 seconds or so as I vacuumed the bandsaw off afterwards. At first I thought something wasn't right with the vacuum or my bandsaw. Took me a few minutes to realize the charge was building up because of the silica running inside the vinyl tubing.

Fiction is ..................... that I will succeed to make from this nicely cut blank knife :D
