IN REGARDS TO POLICEOUTFITTERS...HE IS (SO HE STATES) LOCATED ROUGHLY 70 MILES FROM ME..NEVER HEARD OF HIM..NOR DO I WANT TO!! ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN "TAKEN FOR GRANTED" ON A KNIFE PURCHASE ONCE UPON A TIME AS WELL..
I WILL THROW MY TWO SENSE IN HERE IN MIKES BEHALF. MIKE (KNIFEMAN7) "IS A TRUE MAN OF HIS WORD!! I JUST FINISHED A TRANSACTION WITH HIM FOR A "BEAUTIFUL DILLUVIO"..WE WENT THROUGH "PATIENCE" ISSUES ON MY BEHALF...IE; OUR TERRIFIC MAIL SYSTEM.ALTHOUGH I HAVE TO SAY; I FEEL FOR YOU MIKE..BUT ONE THING I "DO" HOPE YOU AND ALL THE PEOPLE THAT DEAL WITH YOU...IS "YOU DO WHAT YOU SAY..AND YOU FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE TRANSACTION TO THE DELIVERY" I FOR ONE..HAVE A GREAT DEAL RESPECT FOR THAT..

I am going to help Mike, even if it means driving to Mario's house and knocking on his door. WHY? I bought a knife from Mike less than a month ago. I did not have the funds available at the time, and I knew the knife would sell if I could not come up with the cash ASAP. I could not

But Mike shipped me the knife ANYWAY knowing it might be a Month before I could pay him and he has no clue who I am and even if I would ever remember who he is come payment time.

If a guy is THAT TRUSTING to ship a knife to someone he does not know personally, but bases his trust on the fact that the other guy is a member of BF, and that's good enough for Mike, then I am going to do everything and anything to help this kind of formite out.

Mike is EXACTLY what BF is all about, and it's time people like MARIO find out also.................Ira:mad: :mad:

Thanks to all you guys for your kind words and offers of assistance. I am sure that Mario wishes know that he had simply refunded the $111. which is still owing and all this would have been avoided. For his own info, I will not go away so his situation wlii only become worse. Thanks Guys:) Mike

Mario has "responded" to me after a little bit of pressure (plausable Denial inserted NOW).

Mario seems to be "confused". I have taken the time to "un-confuse" him. It seems he really does want to make a go of his business "POLICE OUTFITTERS". Well I EXPLAINED to Mario how I believe the Knife Community works. I used words like "Honesty", "Integrity", and "Fair Business Practices". Does he get it? It's now up to Mario.

It has been suggested that he immediately forward $111.00 US dollars to Mike and do so by MONDAY. If not, I have a feeling in my gut that "POLICE OUTFITTERS" might actually do some "business" with the Local LE Agency.

Hi Wolfmann; Great to hear you at least got a response from Mario and I am sure this whole issue would go away if he would simply return the money I paid for the knife that he did not send. Thank You and lets hope for everyones sake he just puts an end to this matter which has gone on way too long! Mike Mason
 
Mario is definitely going to fix this. I suggested him sooner than later and ASAP is even better, and a visit to BF and an apology might help his new Business out. He made it very clear he deals exactly the way I figured. He runs a business and says he carries just about every production made. He shops, adjusts his prices daily, then he takes an order shops again for the best price and he BUYS it and then ships it, making his profits thru quantity sales rather than quality. He is just a "middle-man" type of Dealer, which is fine if he does deliver. He was given until Monday, then it's no longer "check" it's "Mate"

Thanks Ira; As you know I started out to buy and paid for a knife with what I thought was a reputable dealer and I had no intentions of making such a monster out of a simple purchase. I only hope Mario makes it right and we can put this deal to bed. I'm sure all are sick of it and we are taking up all of "Jacks Page" with the posts. Mario, just send me back my $111.00 and Wolfmann can take you off his list. Thank You.. Mike:(

As you can tell by my "handle", I am Mike's son. Sure is neat to see you guys speaking so highly of the old timer!!!! I have been speaking with him with regards to this latest mess. I am thinking that Mario bit off more than he can chew on this one. Dad can be an ornery ole cuss, but I can't imagine Mario would have thought he would have this many guys on his case. I also know that my father will not go away if this is not straightened out. I am pretty sure that losing the $110 US (that's about $175 CDN) will not bankrupt him, but I'm sure everyone here agrees it is the principle of the matter. So Mario, if you are reading this do yourself a favour and straighten this mess out. Would it not be easier and much smarter to send a refund???? One of common sense or any business smarts would think so.

In my profession with have a brotherhood. Basically it comes down to the 3 Muskateers..."One for all and all for one". No matter where I am, if there is another cop in trouble, I will be there for him or her no matter what. Canada, US or elsewhere it does not matter. You guys have something similar going here and it is great to see.

Sometime I will have to get on here and tell ya all about the neat knives I have been collecting. Everytime I go home, I pick out another one from those fancy glass cases when he's not looking. hehehehehe!!!!

Good to see you join and post here. I have spoken(typed) with your Dad quite a bit and consider him a friend. You should know that when he speaks about you and your occupation, it is obvious even in the tyoed word, that he does so with respect and pride in you.

This is not about the money, it generally NEVER is. It's about one man's word against another, and all the SH*T that get's slung to damage all that we have on a forum....Our word.
Mario is SUPPOSED to step up and apologize. That's his decision. what is NOT his decision is paying Mike back his money. Mario has got to prove to me he did mail the Money order by TOMORROW
