I just ordered a super CQC7 SFS on the knifeshop on ebay. I read a thread about counterfiet emersons on ebay. This isn't from an individual seller,it's from a knifeshop. I called and ordered it over the phone. He said it was there and he went and got it off the shelf for me and was going to ship it tomorrow. I looked at their reviews and there where hundreds all where 100% positive.I can't find the thread I read but I think he meant an individual seller. Do you guys think I'll be ok? I paid 160$ Also do you think i made a good choice? I've never owned an emerson. I've got a bunch of nice folders, Endira waved ,Manix ect..Just cousriuos about ebay?
 
I wouldn't worry too much, if this guys got hundreds of positive feedback. If he's selling a lot of Benchmade knives the collectors would have been screaming their heads off about any counterfiets, if this guy was selling any. There are actually quite a few reputable knife dealers on ebay. Just watch out for the ones selling from way across the world, or with little or no feedback or substantial negative feedback.

You ordered it, no need to worry about it yet.
On the off-chance that there's an issue you can deal with it then.
I love Emerson knives, I keep calling to check for available LH models.

You won't be disappointed with an Emerson. If you are, you should have no troubles trading or reselling it. Yes, imho I think you made a great choice. Have fun with it and let us know how you like it when it arrives.

I've bought several knives from them - Sawyer's Cutlery - and they always get it right.

I bought a Benchmade Apparition from Sawyer's and it was a bargain. It's the real deal for sure. I have several Benchmades and there is no doubt it's real. Except for misspelling my name it was a smooth transaction, and that was probably a typo.

Sawyers is a great outfit. They may not have a huge selection but I have got many great deals from them with fast and easy service.
 
Not long ago there were a bunch of counterfiet BM910's on Ebay.
Both plain and serrated Black blades. Being sold out of Canada.
They were a high quality clones and without knowing your stuff, a person (and many were) could have been and were duped.
