Enjoy the evening Xander!

I just got in from the shop and got cleaned up... enjoying a honey brown ale I made and am relaxing.

I ground half of the friction folder blades to a rough finish and got a lot done. ...worked more on the Framelocks too and have the frames countersunk and chamfered in the pivot area.

Wanted to get in the shop this morning for a bit, but the wife and I decided to go out to breakfast, I'm completely stuffed! Half order of Denver omelette, hash browns and toast. This place is no joke on portion sizes either, a half order omelette is still 2 eggs!

Jen is going to be pissed that you got snow in the bed. Because that is where I will be on any given day at the ungodly hour of 6 am. :p

Guy's, If Chuck's is the place Xander is talking about he is not exaggerating! When I go to Chuck's I always have a overwhelming urge to take a nap after breakfast! The portion size probably is no big deal to you folks that live in the Midwest though. When I went to the Mid west I was surprised by the amount of food that you get and how freakin' GOOD the steaks are!

PD1 is a micro-melt steel that cuts like hell and holds an edge a longggggggg time but... keep it lightly oiled.

Yep, went to the famous Chucks Hamburgers. Seriously, the portion sizes in rural midwest are unreal. Last time I went to Wisconsin I could have eaten for three days on one dinner from some greasy spoon resturaunt! Steaks are pretty tasty out that way, but I laughed at the "mexican" food they had! It was terrble! I was dating a mexican girl at the time and neither her nor I could even eat the food! The friends we stayed with thought it was great... 0_o

Daniel, just be on the look out for extremely slow moving vehicles, all the potheads are going to be taking it into public now (well, more openly about it). I still laugh at the kids here who don't know how to handle themselves....rookies!

Xander that sounds good. Here in CO we have what I consider a normal portion size but back in TX, wow... in many restaurants a chicken fried steak order is two plate sized steaks with another plate for the sides!


Yesterday I sanded framelock frames and blades even more, :cool: got my kydex in molded and all of my sheaths.
