I put an order in knifezilla.com 14 days ago and I don´t receive the products that I paid.

I sent an email and they don´t answer me.

I try to contact via phone number ( 888-878-5643 ) but I don´t get answer....

What can I do, I would like to know the status of my order ...

I just called and got him on the first ring. I've been a client of PVK for +7 years and always got good customer service.

This is a 'one man' operation, so if he's taping UPS packages, he's not answering the phone.

I've also seen delays from PVK/Knifezilla, but I know that he's on top of every order.

He's busy, and that's good for him.

I don't think there's reason to worry.

I am calling from Mexico the following number 001 888 878 5643

I sent a fax so I will wait for the answer.

Thank you

A little off topic, but I really don't think very highly of a company that will do this kind of thing.

www.tripleaught.com

Trying to profit of the name that TAD Gear, Inc has built up is kind of scummy, in my opinion.

Thats pretty sad. I personally won't buy from them because most of the knives being sold are knockoffs. I can't support a dealer like this.

I received the knives and I am so happy, thank you Knifezilla.com

Actually I have other order with you.... 4 Cheetahs, 2 sheaths and the Balisong Mastering Video..... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Honestly folks, I have also been working on purchasing www.tad.com for about a year. www.pvk.com was purchased for the sum of $3500 in late 1998 I was hoping to pay about that much for tad.com and offer them as a pair at a fair markup given the stuff involved with the transfers (which take years sometimes.) I have bought and sold some nice domains it's just another thing I do. As the guy at www.caseknives.com who he got it from - he'll tell you it was me. I bought that in a package with another sweet knife related domain name (you would never guess) for $5000 last year and decided to sell it because I am not into case knives so much - I sold it for $750 not bad. That guy who sold me those was a missionary.

I really like short names - pvkat.com was changed to pvknife.com - was then changed to pvk.com - easy to say on the phone and add to logos - pure perfection for marketing. I also own kis.net (bought for $500) and about 15 other collector quality domain names that should be of value to someone or myself.

Guy in mexico sorry but mexico is a problem for delivery due to too many hands on the boxes I shouldn't have taken your order (do you have any friends in texas...) Guys in Canada waiting I am sorry a little behind in shipping all will be delivered by the end of next week - I have some old orders kicking around that I have been stalling on due to the fact we're hand addressing everything and the non (you know what) stuff goes out first - but all out by monday next week.

And if you haven't ordered from us before and are reading this know that I would never sell an item to you not in hand ready for immediate delivery. Knives shown on the site are in stock - when the last one is sold the knife comes off the site immediately and I will not take your order or show you the item regardless of whether or not I may be able to get it later or in a day that is not the way I do business. If for no other reason than I could never handle the customer service needed for backorders! For you that means get what you see and no problems. And if you live in Canada or france that would be subject to the @#$% it takes to get you your order which takes an extra week or three sometimes for that I am sorry - but it will get there.

knifezilla1,

Since your an honest guy I'm sure you won't mind paying for a dealer membership.

Dealers only have to pay for a dealer membership if they want to advertise on Bladeforums. Everyone is welcome to participate in the discussion.

Darrell, Josh has shipped lots of knives to Canada.

Josh, on another forum you stated that you bought tripleaught.com hoping to get the runoff of people that type in the wrong URL, not that you purchased it hoping to sell it.

Please believe me, Josh is a good, honest man. Like everyone else, things pile up.

But, who else do you know that will send a good customer a dozen knives on a memo bill? He does that sometimes for me; if I cannot figure out which knife to purchase, he sends me the load. He knows that there are no B&M stores in my area for a comparison. I take the knife I want, pay him, and ship the rest back. He has even gone looking for hard to find knives for me.

Sure, stuff may come late, but show me the man who has lost ONE DOLLAR when dealing with Josh.

Absolutely correct, Ichabod Poser!
He's done much more than expected for me as well...

I vote Josh = good guy

Gugsi

PS That domain thing; isn't that just an effect of the free trade that US holds so dear (as do I)?
Sure as heck didn't raise an eyebrow with me.

I too gotta give credit where credit is due. I have bought more than a few blades from Josh and never been screwed. Heck, one got lost during shipping and in less than a day we had a new deal worked out (sad for me the item lost was a no box special) but I got a knife that I was equally coveting without a bunch of bitching.

Josh is a good guy, just busy.

I put ann order in in- March 17,the cases that come with the knife and a extra one i also bought with the knife got shipped on the 26 of march and arrived on the 30 of march,so i still have no knife, WTF i really like looking at the cases but for 268.00 i'd rather have my toy! All ya can do is just wait i guess (How Grand it is!!)

I have purchased knives Josh had up on Bladeauction and got very gooddeals and good service. Dealing with Josh is a no brainer for me.
I always feel he goes out of his way for customer service.

No, I have not received my knives either. I had emailed numerous times but the only response was to wait because shipping can sometimes take a long time. This was at least a year ago (without digging up my email archives for exact details).

I decided to drop the issue and just eat the loss. Customs Canada never sent me notice of seizing my goods either. I guess without tracking or insurance, I really have no recourse. As much as I can sympathize with a one-man operation, does it really make sense to take on more than you can handle from a business perspective?

I'm glad to hear that some people have had positive experiences with Knifezilla.com. Perhaps this is just another example of "you win some and you lose some".

Am I happy with the way I was serviced? No, I wasn't. But if I had to be objective, maybe they are not obligated to do anything else (assuming the fact that the knives were shipped).

So, after all my typing, the fact is, I never received my knives and I didn't find the communication to be satisfying. That's just one fact and one personal opinion.
