The Knight Prototype Combat Blade arrived from Paul Long today

I am not disappointed :)

There will only be 10 of these + the Proto Type

Excuse my sloppy blade handling it has been awhile since I trained with a blade

Thank you Jason and Paul for all that you do for us steel junkies :)

Enjoy the video and Happy Thanksgiving

Joe your video is inspiring I want to get an affordable user like that which is purpose driven and heavy enough for the job. I would love to learn your handeling techiques. Id jump on this opportunity if I was not broke. I go on late night bike rides and need something like that.

Great vid.
The only thing nicer is the knife/sheath package.
Jason and Paul really clicked on this project, no more than was expected though. :)
Thanks for this thread, Joe.

Thanks Doug

I can not stress how useless a good knife can be without the right sheath

I painstakingly ponder what sheath will work for different applications

It surely is an immeasurable gift to be able to work with people like Paul and Jason who can make all dreams a reality

Paul's stuff though beautiful is as durable as I have come across. Fit ,form and function are second to none

Paul is known for his art in leather. I know him for this and so much more.

As Jason is a high performance steel Smith ,Paul is a high performance leather Smith

The demand for these knives has way exceeded our expectations and at this time there are only 2 slots left :)

Thank you all for the kind words

Jon you need a gun for those late night rides not a knife :)

You know where I am at buddy :)

Hi Joe

Thank you so much for posting this up bud…….I really enjoyed your video.

As usual Jason astounds and amazes. The two dimensional drawing you originally posted is transformed by Jason's wonderful ability to bring this fabulous blade shape to life. Thank you again for arranging this for us.

When mine is ready, would you mind arranging for it to be shipped to Paul for the same set up as yours? I too love Paul's work and I could not think of a better person and sheath maker anywhere.

I am looking forward to seeing you in June.

All the best

Steven

Steven my friend of course I will and as always you bring class to the game

You are a true pleasure to work with and when I can get myself to your part of the world again I look forward to a good visit

We must spend more time in Atlanta this year if Matt will give me some time off :)

Enjoyed your vid, Joe. Cool seeing your focus in the slo mo. Nice blend of showing a super knife and providing some education. You speak well and keep the viewer engaged.

I smiled when you mentioned Paul wasn't down with punching a hole in his work . Wish I could have been a fly on the wall for that conversation :D. Having said that, I'd want the hole in my sheath also (don't hate me, Paul!).

Happy Thanksgiving, my friend. And Happy Thanksgiving to all who love the blade.

Thanks Rob much appreciated

Nick you showed some talent with the bow the other day. Keep at it :)

I'm going out to shoot right now

By the way I made a mistake

These are forged L 6 not W2

Thanks to all

Guys as of this am these are all gone :)

I even sold Jason's personal one :)

Thanks to all and have a great holiday

Just a quick mention of safety for any kids that watch that video

Please do not play with sharp knives

I'm old and stupid and have been at this for awhile :)

Thanks again to all

This was a record sell out

That is just to damn cool Joe. Congrats to all the folks that where smart enough and fast enough to pull the trigger on another outstanding Jason Joe Project. love that video

Great vid, Joe.....a little past yer bedtime. :D

You handle that Fighter like Uncle Ted handles his 'axe'. ;)

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Wow! Those came out great. I wish I wasn't always broke and late to nab a Knight user like this.

Thanks for the great thread.

Those of you who were able to get a slot and want EXACTLY the same type sheath Joey demonstrated, please read.
All sheaths will have the shock cord hole. It looked a lot better than I had thought:D

OPTIONS: Black or brown leather
Right or Left hand set up

I will be able to pre-make a number of sheaths using the next Jason knife into the shop. It is necessary to actually have a knife to fit the sheath for proper retention and release, but several sheaths can be made using the same knife.

This won't speed up the delivery on the knives, but it will facilitate the overall delivery time.

To keep Jason and Joey from becoming book keepers, I will deal directly with each recipient for my payment and then will mail the sheath ONLY directly to you. If you want to participate this way I need your order and mailing address along with available options noted above in an email QUICKLY as these sheaths can be ready well in advance of the knives.

You can call me if you like also.

Paul

A-W-E-S-O-M-E...!!!

Joe, putting the video together was brilliant. It really shows why a knife looking pretty in a static photo isn't all she wrote... And why the fact that Jason's knives are pretty AND wicked is so, SO impressive.

Love the knife, love the leather, love all the guys behind this project. You guys rock.

Happy Thanksgiving my friends! :)
