KNIVES 2 BUY. what knives are on your list?

As a new knife person I finally pinned down the style which mosts interests me recently, and just finished creating my list of the next 17 knives which I hope to purchase in the next 5 years or so. Keep in mind my main interest is military or survival knives, but these are a few I think look good.
1. SOG Desert Dagger
2.Aitor Commando
3. Gerber BMF
4. TOPS Laser Strike ( BTW I read the review of this one in Tac knives, has anyone out there got one and used it, have any comments?)
5. Buckmaster
6. Aitor Cuchillo de Monte ( Check out www.cutlerytogo.com - thanks el Cid)
Lagarto

Either a Western Dakota at the local sporting goods store, a Buck Big Sky, or one of those new Kershaw slipjoints with the linerlocks and thumbstuds. What? Oh, yeah. My wife reminded me that my Ken Onion Whirlwind I got a few weeks ago is my Christmas knife. Right!:D

Well, I should have my Ed Fowler Pronghorn in the next month or so. After that I am going to get a wonderful hunter from Bill Buxton. Sometime in the spring I will be getting a fixed blade from Mike Snody and finally in the fall an F4 neck knife in damascus with mammoth handles from Kit Carson.

I will probably get a couple of others next year as well. One from Bill Burke and one from Audra Draper. That will be about all that I will be able to afford in the next 12 months.

A UT-6 is probably next on my list. I would like to handle one first though, because there seems to be a lot of complaints.

In about half an hour i'm lighting off an order to 1SKS for the following:

Spyderco Plain Edge Chinook
Spyderco Plain Edge Native Lightweight
Spyderco 204 Tri-Angle Sharpmaker
Camillus Plain Edge EDC in 154CM
Camillus Plain Edge ARCLITE

also i'm ordering a Kershaw Plain Edge Whirlwind, but that's for my dad :)

it's beginning to look alot like christmas... :)

I can always dream....

Busse Steelheart
Strider MH
Dozier Professional Guides Knife
Chris Reeve Small Classic Sebenza
Tom Mayo Med. TNT

Thats all for now,
Gord.:D

Lagarto, I've owned all the knives you listed, except the TOPs, and it's the only one I'd spend money on. The rest are not fit, IMHO.(except maybe the BMF, for a beater)

My wish list?
1. Any and all Dozier models (the best!)
2. Fallkniven Northern Lights Bowie
3. Fitch Tactical Ranger
4. Fisk Sendero
5. Sebenza
6. Spyderco Lum Chinese
7. Spyderco Wegner
8. Grohmann Survival w/ full grind
9. Fitch Sumo
10. Becker Magnum Camp

And I'll need a new Ruger Ranch .223 to help me enjoy my new knives...

Yes, it's a big list, but I have big plans!

Seems everyone knows what they want for the christmas's and birthdays for the next decade:D Also just came back from fishing... tired... but proud as ever because never been fishing but caught 5 fish:eek: Not huge but still proud.

Well seeing everyone knows what they want i want everyone to try and keep an eye out for some nice production knives under $50 USD for me. If its not too much trouble that is. Also they have to be from popular brands such as CRKT, S&W (although not popular over there), spyderco ect. But i dont seem to like any of the design for spyderco so lets cross that out of the list. Thanx in advance:D

Production knives....hmm...

Well lets see....

CRKT has some blades that interest me, mainly the Aluminium handled version of the KFF(large).

A Kershaw Boa would be nice too.

Been lusting after another Emerson, maybe one of the new G-10 handled Ravens, a Waved 7, and a PSARK...for starters. ;)

Also would like to get a Spyderco Civillian (might...might settle for a matriarch....for the time being.)

And on the very top of my list (okay so its not a production, sue me!) is a Mad Dog Shrike (with a Dundee rig.)
No matter the list of things I want, I'm gonna slip that one int here at the top until I get it. hehehehehehehehehe:D

Hello- my name is Firebat, and I have a disease...:p

Right i think its time i get to dream. Seems i cant afford anything over $60 USD so theres no point looking in on any over that price but hey, a man needs to dream.

Dreaming of a:
1) Benchmade 750 pinnacle plain
2) Emerson commander large
3) REKAT sifu
4) Benchmade 710 Mchenry & Williams combo
5) Camillus EDC talonite
6) Masters of Defence CQD dieter mark II

Well maybe one day my dreams will come true:) Right now i'll have to stick to CRKT, Spyderco and Smith & Wesson.

There should be plenty of knives I want, but I feel pretty neutral right now. There's nothing on my wish list at the moment. That can't last.
