I've finally finished these two knives. One for my dad, one for my brother. I have two more just like these to finish for other brother and brother in law.
Specs: 3/32 ATS 34, heat treated by Paul Bos.
2 7/8" blade length, 6 1/2" overall
Flat grind, 800 grit hand finish
Tapered Tang
Green Canvas Micarta Scales with Red liners
Nickel Silver pins and Stainless lanyard tube
Red and green braided handles
8/9 oz sheaths, dyed black, synthetic sinew stitching
The sheaths are great fits to the knives, but they're not much to look at. I'm still honing my stitching skills, but sort of enjoy the leatherwork.
I've learned so much making these knives, mostly from all of you. I just wish I had more time to devote to this hobby.
I'd certainly appreciate any comments as to what I did right and what I did wrong
