KNIVES and AI (with gemini, chatgpt, etc.)

Folks, keep in mind that anything AI generated by you cannot be copyrighted.

G

And will probably eventually be used by Skynet against humanity. ;) 🤣

The horror.

….. I have no words.

I don't feel well..

Almost everyone has been using or been targeted by ai for a few decades... Spam filters, voice recognition, predictive text, ad recommendations, Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, Spotify, even YouTube and Netflix have all been using ai for decades... Now that we have software that we can seemingly "chat" with, people seem to think all these computers are suddenly sentient and plotting against humanity. It's not, and it is not as advanced as people think it is.

When you have targeted ads brought to you in this forum, it is a form of ai (machine learning). But god forbid someone use a computer to generate an image even though photoshop has been manually doing this for years...

Sure, okay. Machine learning is a wide-spread thing. So?

I'm never going to stop thinking AI images, text, video, music, sound design, etc. is anything other than intellectual property theft, piracy, and misappropriation. Yes, even when used by you to make innocent little knife forum pictures. It's all a conglomeration of stolen content being spat out.

To say nothing of how soulless and dehumanizing it all is.

Make a picture of a Bowie knife on a desk with old books and papers scattered about.

Tell me you don’t know anything about intellectual property theft, piracy, and misappropriation without telling me.

I can set my phone on a table and talk for a number of minutes. Contents about the topic will begin appearing in ads, feeds and so on.

I talked with a friend, who doesn't collect knives, about a Tactile I had given him as a gift.

His phone was flooded with content about knives.

To further the experiment, we talked about 👽.

We got an abundance of content about 🛸 's...

YMMV.

First heard about this on the Shawn Ryan podcast.

Knives are one of the oldest topics in the history of Humankind. An easy topic for AI.

That is GREATLY oversimplifying it, and not 100% correct either.

Probably do not need to worry about the robot apocalypse anytime soon. They have really bad knife skills.
thats after robot stomped you into the ground and took it from you. it knows tru-sharp is no threat to metal robot hands, or slicing paper cleanly and repeatedly, for that matter.......
