Thank you. It's a liner less scale. I'm surprised at the weight difference from the original scale.

I gave up coffee about 3 months ago. Still, it is fun to look through this thread.

What is everyone's favorite method for coffee brewing? I like a French press myself for plain coffee. I've also always wanted to try something like the Minipresso espresso machine. I hear it's actually pretty good for how simple it is to use.

That said, I am only indulging vicariously.

The blade shape and composition, and the fact it's a Golden made model are 90% of the reason why I bought it.

Seriously...they're all over the place. And my memory isn't what it used to be so every now and then I'll rediscover a cache and it's like finding some old friends.

I'm not sure how long but a while back I came across my Buck 119 that I bought in the 70's that went on a 14 year military career with me. My dad had it. Amazing the cobby old fart didn't molest it on the bench grinder.

But that's my oldest knife purchase.
