Late posting pics today as we had a leaky faucet that needed repair. I'm pissed that I didn't need a knife to fix it. Just a pair of pliers and an allen wrench.

Something about the hand grind...

Of all the "vices" over the years, this one's sticking around... no end in sight. Preferring dark roasts (Italian) these days.

I picked up a hand grinder not too long ago. It’s become my go-to. I still use the electric one for my wife and step daughter coffee but I have really grown to enjoy hand grinding for mine

Freshly ground coffee, press pot of course. It's Pike Place sometimes, Lavazza some other times, it depends on where I shop. Done by the book btw. I even do a few things with that blade grinder to control the grind size.

& that's my MT5, always by my side at home.

I did the full on Nick Shabazz disassemble, clean and lube in my 0452 last night after work. Used a tiny bit of clipper oil on the race. This thing is flying greased lightning, only faster. Much better than when sand was grinding in there like nails on a chalkboard.
