No, it's the G620! Sorry, never held a 717...can't comment on it, but I am quite satisfied of my Ganzos so far. This one's a keeper!

Hey Leatherman how does the veff serrations hold up in s90v. I'm a fan, they are great on rope ,hose & even those DAMN clam shells they package everything in nowadays. Work just like a guthook, but with the steel from CRKT I'm forever having to bring the edge back up to snuff, that n the points just disappear after the first few uses. I think I'd like em on my super8 from Emerson. Anyway, nice knife n thanks for any input

I've never had to sharpen them. They strop pretty easily. They just pull right through rope and cardboard.

I'm sharpening it right now after an entire day of grilled meat consumption.
Man I've got the steak sweats bad. :o Also loaned it out to a half dozen others for their slicing duties.
