Knives and Coffee

Still on iced "Americano," it's a beautiful day here in GA.

Late afternoon Macchiccino (milk volume somewhere between a Macchiato and a Cappuccino ;)). Sweet Maria's "New Classic" espresso blend at Full City+. My latte art was garbage on this one (poured too fast).

My favorite, well-loved Benchmade Axis folder, the 275 Adamas. First production 918/1000. Beast mode on!!! :D :p I love the heft this one has, and how hand-filling the grip is. Homerun design IMO!

Death Wish Valhalla Java, little cream and a Randall Model 14. Good welcome to this cold morning

JD Smith Sprint.
Possibly one of the more pleasing to the eye Spydies when folded... just my opinion.

Thanks.
It's like one of the five Spydies I've never owned. ;)
Looks like a perfect candidate for some custom scales.

Now I'm off to find a JD Smith....

No prob! Good luck on the hunt!
Do you usually make your own scales?
I typically prefer factory stock knives as of recently... but there are a few models I'd like to have some custom scales done on, like a GB Air and a Battlestation for example.

I have made my own scales but with that unique pivot on the JD I'd most likely have someone else do it. I still have all of my tools but no shop to work in anymore. :(
