Lansky and Old Hickory work good together. Are the jaws on your clamp cut the same? I have one clamp with one side having a nice cutout for the spine, while the other side has very little cutout. Does not sharpen evenly so it does not get used. A second clamp has no spine cutout. I like the system but think it might be time to upgrade to a different brand

McDonald's is expensive as hell anymore. This is my treat for the month.

For real. We have a McDonalds less than a mile down the road from us. We probably go through their drive-through three or four times each year. We went through just a few weeks go. I got some kind of 2-for-$4 sandwich deal and the wife got a burger meal. Total was $16. We regularly make grilled chicken or steak with potatoes and salad for less than that at home. McDonalds is where the richies eat anymore.
