Finally off the starbucks teet! My espresso machine was in storage during our renovation. Just got it back up and running and got my favorite beans in yesterday so this morning was the first time in a year of having my favorite cup of coffee.

Since a trip to NY, I’ve been having a pound of each of a Brazillian bean and Italian bean roasted by Porto Rico in NY sent to me each month. They’re both the best I’ve found thus far and pack a serious punch. They’re excellent and highly recommended.

I’m always on the hunt for my next favorite bean, would love for some recommendations to try!

Obviously there a pretty wide flavor profile in beans and how they’re roasted but if you like strong and bold flavors than I’d highly recommend trying porto rico outta NY. They can send you different beans until you find the one you like and then will set it up for automatic delivery depending on your needs. May be a little pricey because of shipping but I think it’s around $46 for the 2 lbs. I justify it by being way cheaper than $150 a month at starbucks and a much better cup of joe. I can send you contact info if interested.

If anyone else has any recommendations, I’m all about trying some new beans.

Thank you my friend! We worked to keep the event as small as possible as we both have large families but all the people we wanted there will be attending. God willing everyone can stay healthy and energetic and in two weeks time it’ll be official. A few bumps along the way but we’re remaining positive and optimistic. The future is bright
