Yea I think yours was the Go version. I used to use it for traveling and I’d have to make two cups separately. That XL will make two at once. It’s kinda pricey but it’ll go on sale at several places often. REI sends emails with coupons quite a bit

If something happened to it, I'd have to go back to the French press, because coffee from a machine just doesn't do it for me anymore. Yep it’s fairly new, the XL. I love Aeropress coffee. I only drink two cups a day as well. Any more and I get headaches and it’s just not good. My morning routine I basically make one cup for me in the Aeropress and then three in our machine, two for her one for me. It’s a Moccamaster and I still prefer the Aeropress coffee hands down

I've read nothing but good reviews about the Moccamaster machines, and I have to restrain myself from getting one. It's kind of hard to justify that kind of money when my wife & I only drink three cups a day combined. For years I've been using French presses, which I think make the best coffee, bar none, and the Aeropress is right up there with it.

If it was just me I would I wouldn’t have the machine. She’s not gonna make coffee without having a machine tho. I found an open box model and got it fairly cheap, considering
 
OK. I tried the doing Kettleman thing of going out back with the first cup of coffee in the morning. I'll often take a cup along when working outside, but it's too early for that. It's cold. It's snowing again. And I'm going back inside.:)

Honestly the only reason Im out there this time of year is to take my pups out!
