Knives and Coffee

Tried to research the book title, Lakota war cry sounds like a good read. It is also used as a motorcycle challenge.
It's a comic book my daughter gave me for Father's Day.

"As early as 1850, young Amerindians were forcibly interned in Catholic boarding schools to assimilate them into the American nation. By 1900, the native population of North America had declined by 93%. Most had died from new diseases imported by settlers, state-sponsored exterminations and deportations.
Georges is a young Lakota raised by the pastor who administers his reservation. Acculturated, the young boy gradually forgets his roots and dreams of a future inspired by the booming American model. He crosses paths with Little Knife, a cold, violent Native American on the hunt for his mother's killer. Accompanied by his two companions, Little Knife tears Georges away from his life and embarks him on his journey.
In the course of their journey, the man and the boy open up to each other and find what is essential to them: the appeasement of anger through the transmission of his culture for one, and the discovery of his identity and origins for the other."
