Anyone try that new fangled thing where you put a filter and coffee in a glass funnel and run boiling water over it and drink it?

I hear it's better than press the button kind of coffee makers

That's called a pour over. Done it a bunch. It makes coffee. Can't say it's better than other methods. Seems to be about equal brewing time with my Mr Coffee drip maker. Definitely a more "hands on" process. That said, I had a pour over in Scottsdale AZ that was off the charts flavorful & complex for only about five or six bucks. It also took about five minutes to get it. One of those culinary life changing events.
