There is just something so cool about French knives……I like the story of how the Lia Dou was used by workers to tie up the grape vines in a vineyard. Simple and effective.
And as it turns out ,for a very large sized slipjoint folder ,it carries very well for me . 4-5/8" closed ,it is the thickness a a 2 blade slipjoint in this size . Feels great in hand , razor sharp 'cause of the exceptional thin grind/wide blade . Works well for food prep & around the house/farm etc tasks . I have a collection of these on hand so if anyone ever wanted one & didn't want to buy direct look me up I'd part with one .There is just something so cool about French knives……I like the story of how the Lia Dou was used by workers to tie up the grape vines in a vineyard.
