Knives And Dogs!

In the wild expanse of the backyard savannah—just beyond the sandbox and beneath the deck—something stirs. The air is thick with anticipation. A rustle in the hydrangeas. A tremor near the garden gnome. There, crouched low beside a tipped-over kiddie pool, the predator waits. Its fur gleams in the sun, ears pricked, nose twitching with unspoken purpose. Slowly, silently, it inches forward, belly grazing the grass. And then—chaos. The beast explodes from the bushes with all the fury of nature unleashed… revealing itself to be a wobbly-legged puppy named Ozzie, ears too big for his head and a leaf stuck to his butt. His prey? An unsuspecting knife forum photographer. His success? Highly questionable. But the drama? Absolutely National Geographic-worthy.

My not so fun dogs and knives story.

Just as I'm about to walk in the door, I hear someone screaming for help and dogs barking. I turn around and see a guy, that appears to be fighting two dogs.

Run in for my gun, wife says "your going to shoot a dog?" Yeah guys being attacked, see big knife on coffee table. Now she says "your gonna chop the dogs head off!" Yes!

Hit the pavement, bunch of neighbors are in the road... turns out guy was walking his dog. Someone else's dog jumped the fence and tried attacking him and his dog.

Luckily his dog was was bigger, as i ran up, his dog had the attacking dogs head in it's mouth.

No dogs lost their heads, someone called the sheriff's dept.... glad people came out and helped.

Glad the knife was handy, hope the owner gets fined. Please keep your dogs under control if they like to jump!

Glad everything worked out. I’ve seen the same thing happen pretty often with bad outcomes.

PEOPLE NEED TO TRAIN THEIR DOGS - ESPECIALLY THE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ONES

I take my pup hiking almost nightly.. we encounter coyotes constantly. Most coyotes run at the sight of my dog, some actually stay neutral and once in awhile they charge and attack ( 4 times now ). I edc a fixed blade specifically for coyotes - last thing I want to do is kill a coyote.. if anything on two legs or 4 attacks my pup though.. NO
