Had to put down my dog, Shadow, this morning. She was given to us when she was five years old, about five years ago. We were told she was a Rhodesian Ridgeback, but looks more like a Chocolate Lab.

She was a perfect dog to have while raising young kids. Always gentle and patient with them.

I’m so sorry for your loss. They leave a huge hole when they leave us. Just remember the joy they brought and the love they gave while they were here.

Condolences. I don’t know what to say that others haven’t said already. I hate that part of having a dog ( sidekick ). Looks like your pup had a happy and fulfilling life with your family. RIP Shadow.
