Oof...i like mine either straight up or on the rocks. Bought some darker tequila and it taste like cigarettes...ha...ill have to look to see what it was but needless to say its in the very back corner of my liquor cabinet.

Not usually mixer but ill give it a shot and see. I tried just some cola but even a full can to a shot still taste like an ash tray.

I wasn't even sure where to start. Is silver generally better for straight sipping than darker varieties?

I'm no expert but for sipping I like Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal (because it's on the sweet side from the addition of agave mash)
