I don't drink coffee...but I do drink 4-5x 16oz cups of tea most days, and I can tell my blood pressure is up a bit; so I figured reducing my caffeine intake is worth a try.
This was my first time making it, and I'm sharing the experience with you.

(Sharing, as in showing you a picture - I don't have enough to actually give you all a cup)
First impression - I don't like it; but I didn't really expect to. It isn't awful, though (I was expecting worse). I now understand why they call it mud - very little is dissolved in the water, and swirling it before sips isn't enough to keep it in suspension...the amount of sediment left in the cup was impressive (in a negative way...seriously, it seemed like there was more at the bottom than I had put in). Nothing another 4ish ounces of water couldn't resolve; and I now knew enough to give it a good stir every time I lifted the glass.

I haven't touched the mud stuff since my last post in this thread...maybe later, but at 0320, I need some caffeine so I can sleep.

Pictured are my regular 20 oz tea cup (with Tazo Earl Grey) and a 20+ yr old Boker Gemini.
(My Iron Pup is still in my pocket - the Gemini is one of my beaters)
Welcome to the Earl Grey gang!
