Knives and Drinks!

Breakfast!!
View attachment 1957651

Actually, this could be considered 2nd breakfast, or maybe even third (would third breakfast count as brunch?)... But, since it is the only one that featured typical breakfast items (cereal and bourbon), I'm sticking with breakfast. Dry Corn Chex, Clyde May 5yr Single Barrel, Southern Grind Spider Monkey
Man, wish I could have bourbon for breakfast. It's friday night! I Just poured myself some fireball and rumchatta, it's called a cinnamon toast cocktail. It's pretty good and after a long ass day with not enough water, it goes right to the head. (I admit, im most of the way in, I had to re-type most of the words in this) knife is a pairing knife kit I did with walnut scales.20221014_165420.jpg

I work 12 hr nights...usually shoot for being ready to sleep by 11a (sometimes I make it by 10, sometimes I'm still up at 2p). No different than a day shifter having a drink at 9 in the evening. (I've been on nights so long, I struggle with flipping schedules even when I'm off for two weeks)

can we see the whole knife? Cool lines, you said it was from a kit.

Yeah, I'll try to grab one when I'm back. It's really nothing fancy. I bought the blank, which is in unknown usa stainless steel and then put some bookmarked walnut on it. I kinda oversized the holes by accident because it was my first one. Also didnt have a grinder so the tang metal isnt very uniform. I keep it in the kitchen and it comes in handy a lot.

Blades and Bourbon gets a lot of love these days. I like bourbon but I love scotch. ❤️

From the smell, I'm thinking rum...I just hope it isn't the rum/tequila mix from that party. The drink wasn't bad (don't remember the details, it was at least 5 years ago); but I'm not sure about the combination alone when I'm not already influenced.
