Western Mozambique..

South Island of New Zealand down toward Fiordland....

I really would like to sleep tonight and I need your help. What knife is that? Is it a folder? A slip joint? Frame lock? Liner lock? Either way have a safe weekend.

.... I presume you are talking about the bottom one. But from top to bottom.... Busse ASH1, Busse FFBM and the last two are a Busee Skeleton Key (fixed blade). Andy

Grand Canyon Caverns, Peach Springs, Arizona.
Very interesting geological place. 2 stories underground of calcite caverns. A giant ground sloth around 10,000 years ago, fell into the caverns through a desert surface hole. It tried to climb out but was unsuccessful. Claw marks are seen preserved on the cavern wall.
I had my Rat Worx mini MRX through this experience..but did not get any pics except on the surface.

Those are sweet. But a little out of my price range. Especially as I get older I tend to misplace things. Losing a $100 knife hurts but if I lost a $1000 knife my wife would probably leave me for an even uglier guy, just to spite me.

OT: indeed. That is one Shiro I salivate about just because I have a penchant for large (but not too silly & humongous like!) folders and that Shrio 111 is about as large as I would want. They go for 1100 new and I've seen them around 800ish on the 2ndary market in here. A great looking knife to ogle over but it's not in a monetary lane where I like to constantly ride in ;)
