A filing cabinet is a great idea for school. Make sure it has rails for hanging folders and you have a stockpile of them. You can use hanging folders for classes with manilla folders for subprojects. If you epoxied a lock box inside a drawer you wouldn't even have to keep the cabinet locked. Filing cabinets are boring places that kleptos won't really look at much.
