What are some really neat custom/production knives that really stand out and have a cool design to them. Im purchasing a Brian Tighe Tighe Breaker and was just wanting to hear some second thoughts, so what are some other cool folders for ~ 500 bucks?

I just bought a RJ Martin Overkill at blade that i love. I paid $700 for it, but it has S110v steel and a carbon fiber. I think a plain titanium version would fit the bill for your price range.

you might be able to get an XM-18 for around the $500 price point. or look into DDR knives, i think they are around the 500 mark

I'd get a Yuna Zombie killer if I had that money. :)

It is tough to beat an XM 18. If you are not in a hurry you will find one in your price range. Good Luck. Kevin

500 dollars is a lot of money, you have real options, I would check outs ome popular makers, like GTC, Snody, high end semi productions such as chris reeves/strider. With 500$ you can choose a lot of knives, i would look at what other people say about the xm-18. Personnaly i dont see it, i can see owning a sebenza. But the xm-18 just looks weird to me, Anyhow, people rave about it and pay huge aftermarket price markups just to get one.

A bit gaudy, isn't it?

Then again, you did want it to show off.

Brian Tighe...I've had one Tighe Breaker...briefly, it was fabulous.

I had a plain one, though.

Brian Tighe's knives look good but I have heard everything is done on a CNC mill. I personally wouldn't call that a custom but that's another story.

Look in to a Galyean Pro Series. Although they're not full custom they are of great f&f,quality and priced reasonably. His full customs that I have sold for over 4k.
