Knives for ~ $500?

I'd say check out the Galyean Pro series, Lightfoot, DDR, Lambert, and Dozier (for a more utilitarian appeal) Of course check out the different variations of the high end productions like William Henry and CRK but I'm sure you already know all about those.

I like Yuna too. I like the Hard 2 drop point blade style.

Pics off Yuna's site.

Check out Allen Elishewitz, Jeff Hall, and Bob Terzuola (might be hard to find around 500 tho) too.

I just picked up a very nice Pat Nihiser Impact folder. D2, clip point, anodized liners, carbon fiber bolsters, tan handle scales, and it is BIG. Got it for what I consider a steal of a deal. Look around good deals come up all the time you just have to be ready for them is all with the funds when they appear. Sometimes that is not always the case at least with me. Also look at the new Hogue/Elishewitz folders. 3Little Indians has the hand ground damascus blades for less than what you are looking to spend. Older SOCOM'S can be had too for alot less than what you are looking to spend and these are to me the pre-eminent tac folders. Lots of stuff to look for and out there. Custom makers here sell excellent hand made folders. Good luck and keepem sharp
