Here’s my standard ghost-hunting gear for Montana. My old backpack has water, food and a water-proof parka, in it at all times. I keep my cell phone and camera handy in the front. I also bring a heavy revolver and a good, sturdy little dagger.

The walking stick is diamond-wood with a sterling band. You can never tell about werewolves.

You can see some of my pictures here. This is very much a work in progress. I took so many pictures it's overwhelming. I'm going to work on this page along and along. I'll do a lot more over the labor day weekend:

Oh yes, the knife is a Browning, but it's made by TOPS. It's 1095 steel, my favorite, and has a 3/16 inch blade. Tops can make their knives too thick sometimes at 1/4, but this is just right.

This is one of my most 'famous" ghost pictures. I call him the Wisteria Ghost. Do you see him in the doorway:

Here's a close-up:

The old church burned in the early '60s. As you can see, he's even dressed the part of a Southern Hrdshell Baptist, with half horn-rimmed glasses, and a suit jacket with a weird lapel.

what blade is that? Pretty slick...

Have you shot a ghost before? I kid I kid, I joke with you!

Your pic is slick but it's terribly difficult to know what's shopped or not...

I have been wanting to join the local ghost hunting society...

Nice set-up Uath, what kind of flashlight do you use?

It's not. I know you have to trust me on this, but it's not. I'm really after taking pictures of weird places and finding images in them. It's kinda about ghosts, but....

Check out some more pictures:

Look at this one I shot at a local "Haunted" spot called Hog Creek:

Do you see the dog-thing?

Look at this picture of an abandoned brothel. It is a very scary place:

I feel like Carl Weathers in Predator, "I see him. I can really see him." :D

In the brothel pic, what are all those orbs ;)?

It's in Virginia City. My wife and I have a second home in Ennis. I've been going there every Summer since 1984.

The dagger really is my lucky ghost hunting blade. I man not always have the revolver and stick, but the dagger...always:

If you are dealing with the supernatural in any way, I'd suggest you take (at a minimum) your pistol and knife to a clergyman of your choosing for a blessing. You can never be too safe.

Fool! Anybody that knows anything knows only a transparent knife can even touch a ghost. Maybe an ordinary knife would work if the ghost was a knifesmith or something but you really want to go transparent or at least semitransparent. Good luck finding one of those, though ~ unless you live in Russia. Just be cautious about violently penetrating the Netherworld. You could open up a vortex or some sh*t; bring safety rope.
