Wow, hands down the most amazing news I've read on BladeForums, Just signed up for the waiting list for my son, can't wait for the day to come when I can hand him his first knife. Thanks so much Derrick.

Mr. Bohn and KSF are wonderful; i've dealt with him for years. He is a kind, genuine person and a good man. I couldn't speak more highly of someone I haven't known IRL. He's a True Believer when it comes to knives, so much so that he and his wife picked up and moved their entire well-established business away from an anti-knife state to a much more knife-friendly place for no other reason than than principle.

If you want to buy a Bark River, ZT or most any mid- to high-end knife you can rest assured that KnivesShipFree will treat you very well.

Anti knife state ? Not sure why you would say that about Oregon. We have most of the biggest companies located here, and we can legally carry Autos...
 
Heads up...the first part of this post was for early 2015, so contact the giver to see if program is still active.

I ordered one when it was free last year for my son. Was an awesome program. Glad to see its back up and running. I looked to see if o could order one back in December or January and you couldn't order. I'it's getting to be that time to order my youngest boy his first.

Thanks for your generosity Derrick! It's a great little knife.
 
We love this program. We enjoy reading the names we get to engrave on the knives and thinking about the excitement of the moment for the child and the adult giving the knife. We have received some very nice emails about the moments when the kids get their first knife.
