I had that kizer for a short time before a bouncer took it from me (and I forgot to get it back...). From what I could tell the vg10 in the blade was absolutely fine (actually took me longer than expected to reprofile), and it opened pretty smoothly with the thumb stud. However, there was very noticeable blade play, and just seemed a bit flimsy overall. I would not recommend it even for the cheap price. .....It's made me shy of buying a different model of kizer. I may eventually break down though because many members speak highly of a few of them.

I hope this review is still in progress as I have already bought the Buck Vantage Maverick 20cv as well as the 110 Sliver Fox in the same blade steel through SK Blades. So far the Vantage has performed excellent and carried/used everyday for about 2 months . Holds edge a long time. I’ve had the 110 about a week so haven’t used it much. I’m looking forward to seeing the results.

I scrapped the project unfortunately due to an unexpected uptick in my daily workload. I barely had time to cook dinner most nights, much less fool around with knife reviews. Things seem to have slowed back down though. Maybe I'll dive back into it. Thanks for digging this up.
