Thanks, my wife just had surgery so I priced these to sell fast. The two tone handles would normally be 165$ and the carbon fiber would be 200$.

Yeah it probably comes down to the use of owner. My hands are usually grimy with grease, compounds and diesel. and in my free time they are likley to be covered with mud or dirt. Another great reason for the thumb ridge is if you hold your knife upside down in a chopstick position, the thumb ridge fits perfectly in the crook of your thumb and pointing finger- this is great for detailed wire work with the tip. I appreciate thumb ridges and lower finger guards though I realize it may take away the asthetic appeal of the knife.

Yes the toxic/black scales are thinner. At this time I cannot get any thicker sizes in that color.
