See Steven Garsson's excellent review for show details. What you see here are some of the knives I shot for makers and collectors at the show. It's always a pleasure to handle such fine custom knives as these.

That last gift dagger was made in collaboration by 20 or 30 Knifemakers Guild members in appreciation of Dave and Grace Harvey (Nordic Knives) for 35 years of the prestigious and successful Solvang Custom Knife Show. I guess that illustrates how much a good reliable annual knife show means to a whole bunch of makers!

I'll post a few more images as I finish them, but the best photo of all is one I can't post. You'll see it soon enough in one of the magazines. All three of Buster Warenski's solid gold Legacy Series daggers ! (with bejeweled gold scabbards) - together in the same place at the same time for the first and only time ever. Their names are The Orient Express, The King Tut Dagger, Fire & Ice. One is currently for sale through Nordic Knives - $850,000

Beautiful photos Buddy.
Sounds like you stepped up and saved the day from a show photography prospective.
You are definably one of those resourceful "get in done" types folks.

I'm selling all my equipment... ;)

Wonderful photos, Buddy. I knew you would please.

The Warenski Trifecta???!! I'll bet there was a security guard present!

Looking forward to even more!

I was wondering the same thing when Steven told me the knives were there.

That dagger is spectacular, to say the least, but I must comment on the "35 years"!

I can clearly remember when they had the first show, and I knew NOTHING about custom knives 35 years ago.

Well, I went and looked: From their site; Setting the Standard for Excellence since 1985

Those are great photo's. Thanks for sharing. That Overeynder and the Russ Andrews really trip my trigger. WOW!

Thanks for the comments, the Andrews knife belongs to me. I took it up to the show specifically to have it professionally photographed for Russ's website, with the sheath by Paul Long. The inlay on the sheath is Cape Buffalo hide taken by JParanee, and graciously offered as testament to our friendship.

Every knife has a story to tell, this one is mine.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson
