Knives from the workshop of Roman Blaha

Hi
Today I finished another knife.
The total length of 24 cm.
The blade has a length of 12cm, width 3cm, thickness of 5mm.
The blade is forged from Damascus steel (steel O2 / K600) on the sides, the middle is steel O2.
The handle is made of ebony, camel bone, alpaca.

Again this is a sandwich with a core of steel WNr. 1.2842,
flanks Böhler K600 with steel ČSN 41 3180
Handle made ​​of mud oak.

Very nice as always! You should send one to the US for a pass around. Get some of the longstanding members here at blade forums to use it and write reviews. Just a thought.

I finished another knife.
The overall length of the knife is 26.5 cm.
The blade is made of Damascus 250 layers.
Its dimensions are 14 cm length, 3.8 cm width, thickness approx. 5 mm.
The handle is made of merbau wood is native to Papua New Guinea, a couple of rings pressed leather.
At the end of the handle is a mammoth tooth.

very nice attention to detail, very smooth, even edges (how do you sharpen your blades?)

only thing i would say is, try some different blade shapes...all your knifes although different, all have very very similar blade shapes.

Thanks for viewing.
Grind knives with Lansky sharpening.
Trying out other shapes. But it's my style. I like it this way:).
Of course, if someone wanted a different shape is not a problem to agree.

Greetings Roman,

Great craftsmanship! Not sure I understand the blade profile. Looks like a skinner in many respects. The flat elevated "nose" of the blade tip confuses me, although I see it's uplift nicely balances with the drop of the handle butt.

Last night i received the pictured knife from Roman. Blade is strong and made from special forged 720 layer damascus from WNR 1.2842 and WNR 1.1259 (mangan spring steel)The edge is razorsharp.Fit and finish are outstanding. Handle made from Honduras palissander burl.Bladesize 12,5 cm and handle 12 cm. A very strong camp/user knife with top finish and materials.Fair communication
