Took the day off, went out early while it was still in the upper 80’s to let the rifles stretch their legs and let the 45acp get up close and personal!

Nice! That's pretty much the opposite of "hot summer carry" for me.

I'll often do vertical shoulder carry when wardrobe is reliably fixed to include a suit, blazer, leather jacket, etc. Heck, I can carry a compact with the right cardigan. People bust on it because it might have been popularized for the wrong reasons via cop shows. The reality is that it can be both comfortable and practical under the right conditions. It can be a great choice for people who spend a lot of time driving or sitting at a desk.

I don't carry it when hot weather. I have lots of shoulder holsters but that is the easiest rig to carry. It's a 43x compact. Very thin and a short barrel. In the summer I carry a 43 in the waist.
