Jericho 941, the Baby Eagle.

Looks like older models when Israeli Weapons Industries (IWI) was still Isreali Military Industries (IMI) based on the emblem on the grips.

Old model (should be from the 90th) with the safety on the slide.

Can somebody tell me the make and model of this pistol?

Yeah, those are both IMI Jericho 941's (decocker safety on the slide variant pre-light rail). Imported by Magnum Research as the Baby Desert Eagle Semi-Compact (full grip, abbreviated slide). Both Identical .45 ACP models. More of a CZ than a Desert Eagle. Shoot great, great triggers (compared to stock base CZ's). Has to be one of the slimmest grip double stack .45 ACP autos... as slim or slimmer than my SP01 9mm. Not huge mags, 10+1 guns, in TANFO mags if I remember correctly.

Thanks! It’s the Wasp model with their boot grips. It’s got some kick for such a little gun.

Yeah I did some unscientific tests with mine in the 90’s and rounds went thru the Atlanta Metro phonebooks at the time and those were thick books. I wouldn’t want to be shot with one I know that, call me what you want to

Yes. It was my grandfather's, late 50's I believe..308 Winchester. I rarely shoot it.

Very nice. It is from the era of deep, rich blueing, straight grain furniture and a high gloss shine. Plus extremely accurate and reliable

It is accurate, but I don't shoot it because the early ones had a flaw that cause excessive wear on the bolt, which increases recoil as well. I've shot the newer 7600 as well in .308, the difference in recoil was noticeable. I'd rather shoot 40 rounds out of my 12 GA 887 than 4 from the 760.

It's not a gun I enjoy shooting, and even if I did hunt, rifle hunting is illegal in Illinois, gotta use a shotgun. So it sits pretty in my safe, next to my grandpa's 1944 M1 Carbine. He died in 1996, when I was 17. I have a few other guns from him, most non functional. Can't find parts for them.

I do shoot the carbine, fantastic gun.

Understand not shooting it. Wow, I have shot a 760 in 30-06 and to me it was not terrible.
Understand the hunting aspect. Sorry you lost him at your young age. Be thankful you have his guns. I had my granddaddy's shotgun until it was stolen.
Glad the carbine shoots good.
