It's been totally solid. It doesn't live on that carbine full time though. I generally just use it for sighting in optics, and occasionally for some specific training stuff. The nice thing it that it pops on and off easily.

Hammer67 , thank you ! I am looking for exactly the same thing - not to keep it on the stick all the time.
Didn't want to shell out for more expensive (better) bipod because I wouldn't need it. This is plenty for plinking at 3-400 yards I think.

Yeah, I'd say it's perfect for that. There are cheaper options, but I don't think they are as solid as the Magpul is.

A Favorite in 22 long rifle. It would benefit from a liner but I can't decide if I should or not.

Never know when you’re going to need to shoot, poke, bash and smash. My wife thinks I’m ridiculous but a couple of those purchases were bought only for the coolness factor.
