This is a weird looking pic (above). It looks fake, almost like an AI generated image. However, I took the pic. Didn't use any filters or lighting or photoshop. Nothing. It is just a pic. Looks fake though.

Maybe just the light on the surfaces of the 1911 and those interesting grips. LUDT... what does the "L" stand for?

Good question. I had to look it up just now. It stands for "Large".

I've picked up a few recently. Nice little side openers. Very thin behind the edge and great slicers!

The inlay on those are way cool, really sets off the scales.

Initial thoughts on the comp?

Not as loud or flashy as some other ones. Gun shoots flat as is from weight and springing, but I am glad I chose the comp. Can't say that I really notice it but I haven't really run the gun hard yet. If I end up not liking it I can always drop in a Kart and remove it.

Took the 1911 to the range yesterday and put 200 rounds through it. That brings the total round count to 1,100, with over 1,000 flawless rounds (small break in period with the first few magazines) with various ammo types.

I am now officially declaring it "good to go" for carry.

Really good looking gun. Love thew bob tail and pinned grip safety, plus everything is better in 10MM. What thumb safety did you use?
