CVA Cascade scout 308WIN.
For someone like me who isn't a big firearms expert, it's very good value for money.
Accurate out of the box at 100 m with open sights.
I mounted a red dot sight but couldn't adjust it because of the weather.
But for my use (shooting between 100m and 800m), I find it very good, but we'll see how it holds up over time.
The magazine well lock is small and difficult to use with gloves

Nice, I thought it looked like .308, but I know some European countries, have weird laws about owning military cartridges.

How far do you have to travel for an 800m+ range?

In France, we have very restrictive legislation, which is becoming increasingly so as the years go by.
Our corrupt politicians are the lackeys of the European Commission, which is destroying countries' economies, freedom, health, and social life.
We are no longer even allowed to carry a pocket knife outside our homes. Zombie knives and machetes, switchblades, automatic knives, butterfly knives, and balisongs are prohibited.

7 km for 100 m
25 km for 600 m
111 km for 800 to 1200 m
