This is one display in my collection I like. These are two circa 1960 randall's and a 44 cal. black powder Colt. I know most knife nuts do not consider Randall's Custom made knives, but what did I know I was only 15 years old.
The second photo is my Governor's bowie made by Dennis Riley. of Cushman, Ar. He was commissioned by Governor 'Huckabee office of Arkansas to be given to the 18 Governor'swho attended his 1st annuial Sourthen Governor.s conferance. Blade and handle specs: Blades: Clay hardened Damascus, made from 1095, 15N20, and L6. The pattern is called Drill and Drift. The dagger has 908 layers and the bowie 454. Handles and guards: Extra large Whitetail deer crowns, transition ferrule - cast white bronze; handle is black dyed stabilized box elder burl and the guard is nickel silver with black ash burl spacer.
