I have some pics but am having problems posting them. Any help would be appreciated.

You will need to have your photos hosted somewhere on the web. Go to www.tinypic.com (it's a free photo hosting site)and upload your photos there.
They will even supply the correct vB code; just copy the stuff that is surrounded by tags and paste it into your post here.

I have some good pics now. What level of membership to I have to join at in order to post my pics and how many would I be limited to? In the interem can I e-mail some pics to another member to post?

Basic members (Registered User) can post pictures, they just have to be hosted off site.
Here is a tutorial that Dan Koster wrote up to help people post pictures. You can also send them to the address in my profile and I'll post them for you.

What is being carried to sharpen knives in your unit? Most of the guys I am around did not pack one or know how to use it.
