Knives in the UK...Amnesty

I have said it before and I will say it again. . .

The UK is turning into a Fascist Hellhole. High time for a revolution, but it seems a sheeple mentality has taken over the majority of the population.
If I lived there I would do everything in my power to get the hell out.
 
Isn't that other Khukuri company based in the U.K.? Anyway, I think I"ll make it a point to stay out of the U.K. as much as possible on future travels.

Man I argued with an English swordsman and reenactor about this weapon ban, and the guy was saying that it was a good thing. Can you believe that?

Hopefully a revolution will be not necessary, this might be still fixed by some good voting during next elections.
 
The English are definitely challenged in certain areas . They are also our allies .
We might not see eye to eye on some things . They seem to stand up for what they believe . Can it be there is still a feudal mentality with a tight local adhesive nature . There is no people easier to subject than small local groups with no unity between them . Its easy to divide and conquer if your citizens are already divided . Instead of knives try outlawing or banning soocer . I know it sounds silly . It is something almost everyone over their feels strongly about and so would add a national cohesiveness .
(Adhesive , cohesive ? I need a drink . L:O:L)
 
Unfortunately it can be stated however you want to, but the good people are being set up even more to be victims of heineous crimes. This is just horrible to watch those folks being slowly bled before the slaughter. God bless them and "the smart people",who believe that restricting the good will ultimately defeat the criminal miscreants of society. Good luck to the U.K. It is going to get very ugly over there! Take care everyone.
 
OK...all that aside,

it tears at me that some INCREDIBLE knives, swords, and steel of remarkable ancestry and manufacture are going to the wrecker's yard: family heirlooms, remarkable treasures from the days of the British Empire. Of course, I still get all weepy when I think of the guns that have gone that route in Australia and the U.K. (There was a picture of a pile of long guns being smashed together by a bull-dozer that was...just ... evil.)

I can't help but wonder if there is some firm that buys up the confiscated knives and swords, like the ones buying the pocketknives confiscated by the air-lines in the U.S.

I know you can't argue logic with the logic-impaired, but these laws destroy art and artifact without addressing the issue to which they were aimed.:(
