Currently I'm unable to find a Kershaw CF S 3.25 and a checkered G-10 Gerber Silver Knight from the 70's.

Found knives, my Damascus Winston Keyring Knife and my Rocky Mosier CA Legal Auto.

Nothing is ever really gone, just temporarily misplaced.:o

What's listed in your lost and find file?

Lost: My first real SAK, a Victorinox Swiss Champ (an older model before they added pliers, etc.). I found it as a young teen and I had never seen anything like it. As I worked my way through the tools it was really exciting. I now have a newer Swiss Champ that came with their SOS Kit, and a Swiss Champ XLT, but I'd like to find my first. I'm sure it's somewhere in a box, but it has yet to turn up. I found it only because someone else had lost it on our property and we asked everyone we could that had been there and no one claimed it. I guess it likes getting itself lost. :)

Does stolen count? I had a Gerber dagger and one of those United Cutlery Gil Hibben Double Silver Shadows or whatever. I don't really miss them since they were pretty much junk, but they may have a little collector value. A "friend" who was going through a hard time spent a night at my parent's place and I guess when I was at work he decided to help himself to a couple knives, maybe to barter with. I didn't think to check my things when he left my place to go to his next destination. I haven't seen him since.

I never really lost a knife.

The only knife that I've found was a 3 bladed boy scout knife. I found it when I was about 9 years old. I still have it.:D

Lost: CRKT Carson F4 neck knife

Found: Victorinox silver alox Secretary and a Victorinox Outrider

haven't lost any that i cared about...broke a cheapie knock off swiss army style...

found some cheap old knives every once in a while, though nothing special

I've lost more then my fair share of Spyderco knives over the years. Just the thought gives me high blood pressure.
Most recent knife lost was a BM100RR that was attached to my PFD.
I can only blame my self I know better. Just remember inverted knife on PFD with lanyard while brush busting equals lost knife. Needless to say I didn't realize it was gone until we set up camp that night and going back wasn't a option. I know the Island it's on so next time I'm in that area you can bet I'll have a looksy.

I lost a Schrade 34OT Stockman... and I've moved twice since then. I've pretty much given up hope :(

Mike

Never give up hope, I have found knives after several moves, once in the bottom of a unpacked box that sat longer then I care to admit, once in a reclining chair, and of course the almighty love seat. And when I found them it was like Christmas unfortunately for me once they have been found the chances are high to be lost again.

I lost an old Delica SE with the FRN clip a while back. To console myself I bought a Salt I SE. Before it even arrived I found the Delica. :D

About a month ago I misplaced my BM Mini Skirmish and I was pretty beside myself for about a week until I found it under the bed, snuggled up next to my shotgun for some reason.

Never found a knife per se, but in the space of about five months, I won the Mini-Skirmish, a Buck 110, and an Emerson Mini CQC-7 in monthly drawings on another website. I'll never have a run of luck like that again.

Lost: Spyderco Salt 1. Lost it at work (I thought at the time) and looked for a couple of weeks, but it never turned up. I missed the ergonomics and function of that knife when I had to go back to using some others in my collection.

Found: The same knife! The clip had gotten caught on a zip tie that held some broken-down cardboard boxes together at work. Lo and behold, I go snooping around and there it is, clipped onto the piece of plastic.

Lost: Same knife. :( Had it clipped to my jeans before a trip, and it wasn't there when I arrived. WTF? The only thing I can think of is I was checking the oil & fluids before I left, and it may have fell out of my pocket. Tore the car apart looking for it. Think I'll go outside right now and remove the front seat too, haven't done that yet.

It's been replaced since then, but man, that knife had some hard use under its belt and I have some silly sentimental attachment to it.

Came back with my wife from a little grocery shopping and as she got outta the truck she reached down and picked something up from the frozen mud, as she turned to show me what it was, it turned out to be a missing Fisher Space Pen that's been MIA for 3 months.:D

I lost my boy scout-type camp king folder in the back yard when I was about 10 years old. I knew where I had dropped it within a 5 foot circle, but never found it. I never forgot loosing it, you know how that is.

A few years ago, when I was 40, I happened to be standing in about the same location, talking with my nephew. He looked down and picked up the knife, just laying on the ground. After a million passes with the lawn mower and 30 years in the grass/ground, it was in nearly perfect shape! Only slightly tarnished. I couldn't believe it!

I let my nephew keep it.

Lost: 1 POS 1st gen Buck Crosslock who'se clip probably snagges on the lining in my jacket. 2 (count'em) Spyderco Natives that probably suffered the same fate as the crosslock. 1 Kershaw Bump, I think this sucker got snatched out of my back pocket by a (literally) dickless F$%k at a cast party. last and probably least, a kershaw scallion lost during the melee of a particulaly hairy set strike (and into someone's pocket no doubt)

Found: Batch of Schrade's i saved from a closing Hardware store (3 7OT's (one now belonging to Mr. Cougar Allen), 2 LB7's, 2 885UH's, and a 19OT).
The Arblete Lagiole my sister brought me back from france. my granddad's WWII era army knife. and one of my Boker Infinity's.

Lost – The single bladed, blue jigged bone folder with shackle when I was 5 years old (1956). Never found it. Dad probably found it and never gave it back.

Found – While deer hunting in Utah when I was 17 (1968), a Cattaragus 225Q with no handle washers, or sheath. I was sitting behind a rock, observing a draw, when I looked down at my feet and there it was. Someone, years ago, must have found that same place to sit and lost his knife. I rehandled it in wood and have it today.

When I was about 15 or 16 my Dad gave me a Case Trapper in some kind of reddish/brown jigged bone. He really knew how to sharpen a knife and the blades were like razors. I carried it in small shoulder pouch for pens on my work jacket. One day when I was running for the bus a few years later, it flew out of my pocket and I heard it hit the sidewalk. I turned and 2 maintenance guys were working right near the bushes where it hit. I asked the guy if he had seen the knife, and just knew he had it. If I missed the bus I lost my job, so I had to leave. One of those big life disappointments. I've owned several Trappers since then, but never found one of that exact color...

Found: Buck 501 about 20+ years ago that I still carry today.
