Besides the Milli and the Para-Mili, which Spyderco knives are actually made (and I mean all of the compnents) in the United States, and put together in Golden, Colorado?

Love, Spyderco knives, but I have Enduras, and Delicas, as well as a few H1 versions, and I have had a Mili for a week or so, and the quality of the Mili is absolutely superb compared to the knives made in Japan.

Or am I wrong, and the knives that are stamped Seki-City Japan actually put together in the US?

I'm pretty sure all the Seki models are assembled in Japan. But if you are comparing FRN models to the Millie, it might be more fair to compare the Millie to a Seki model a bit closer to it, such as the Police 3 (which I admittedly don't yet have), Stretch, etc.

In my experience, both Golden, CO, and Seki, Japan, make knives of awesome quality. For me it depends more on the knife than where it was made. For example, I love the Millie, but I never liked the S30V Native (or any Native, U.S. or Seki-made). I have an old Spyderco Wegner model (Seki, ATS-34 steel) that is every bit as good as my old 440V Millie.

Just the material specs for me that may be the issue, in other words a knife designed for the mass market with a low price won't be like a over $100.00 dollar Millie but seki city makes great knives. its like comparing apples and oranges, just not the same. I am looking forward to the Temperance II from Seki City!

Manix, Ti ATR, P'Kal, Starmate, Yojimbo, ParaMilitary, Military, Citadel and Dodo are some I have from the USA.

Here's a complete list...http://spyderco.com/catalog/list.php?origin=United States&per_page=47. It includes all of the sharpening stones as well, but it's a complete list of all non-restricted models made here.

Restricted models are all made in the USA, they include the Embassy, Citadel, G-10 Small Fly, MIM Small Fly, Small Fly Trainer and the Szabofly.

Hope this helps.

Kristi
