Some of you guys and gals probably will 'Vote' a knife off the island once you decided it wasn't worthy to stick around, nothing really wrong with it, just didn't make the cut and was 'voted' off the island...I can't imagine how many rafts of knives have left my island over the years
but it is a LOT.
Here are a few that have some staying power, so far, and this doesn't include my Swiss Army knives as those I view more as tools than cutting instruments, but they do and can cut quite well. And there are a few more that won't see a raft but I didn't get them into the photo.
Around the block they are,
on the far left my little gem of a folder, a Baby Rounder by Jerry Halfrich,
The Civivi Stormridge fixed blade, what a capable knife, handle is thin as is the blade and at first I didn't think I would like the handle scales being so thin, but it works great and cuts great too.
Laramie Jackson small fixed blade, this was up on deck to go because the handle is a little short for me, but the guard and blade have won me over, exceptional cutter and very well made knife.
the Blue handled one is a Knaf Lander 2, the detent works great and the blade swings closed drop shutty, the blade arrived very sharp and I haven't had the need to sharpen it up yet, I think they did a very good job with the heat treatment on this S35vn
Jigged Bone handled Schatt & Morgan, which I just used this morning, this was a gift from a friend
waynorth
when we last met at the GEC rendezvous, thanks again Charlie, the blades have broken in and open much better now.
Middle green handled Benchmade Taggedout with S45vn, an exceptional cutter, one thing I was doing wrong trying to open it was to use the thumb stud pushing outward instead of directly forward, BIG difference and fortunately I figured it out
Orange handled Manly City folder, 14c28n blade razor thin and just cuts...anything...with ease, this is my go to if I don't want to muck up any of the fancier knives I own.

So, that's my current list of those most likely to stay on the island, it's a lot I reckon, but it's a good group and so far they get along famously
